The Vancouver Burlesque Centre was founded in the fall of 2011 in Vancouver, BC by internationally recognized professional burlesque artists and instructors Burgundy Brixx, Lola Frost and Cherry OnTop upon the observation that Vancouver was in need of a space that truly evoked the spirit of feminine strength and sensual liberation they all shared. Their mission: to utilize their combined skills and connections within the burlesque and feminine fitness worlds to build a community hub for like-minded women (and men) to continue their personal sensual and physical journeys within classes, workshops, rehearsals and events and to unleash the unlimited possibilities for female expression and empowerment through the joyous sensual liberation of the body and soul.
